The best place we stayed during our 2 week travel in Bavaria. The hotel has two buildings. We stayed in the historic one, and the ambience is charming. The newer one, where the checkin desk is located, is also nice. Both hotel restaurants offer great dinner options. The breakfast (served in the newer building) is excelent -- one again, the best in these two weeks. The location is most central. Parking: you can park overnight for free in the street just nearby, during the day it is 2 hour limit....

Lovely quaint hotel , very large rooms, more like a very large one bedroom apartment than a hotel room. Very comfortable, and lovely views of potted plants in an interior private entrance to the rooms. Relaxing! Centrally located. The only slight negative was the breakfast buffet in the restaurant across the cobblestone street, owned by the hotel. Not at the same standards in our opinion than the other quaint hotels we stayed in throughout Germany. But certainly passable.

The owner and host of this delightful hotel went out of her way to help us with our laundry needs. Just wonderful people that run a superb small hotel on the edge of their own farm in a small village on the Romantic Road. A short drive to Nordlingen, one of the best walled cities on the Romantic trail. We 100% recommend you include this place on your tour of the Romanic Road. Oh ample free parking.
