I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years. This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited. The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. I will return for another week at this hotel in April. Thank you Expedia for leading me to this magnificent destination.

We had an excellent stay at Kirishima Kokusai Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Kirishima area. We stayed in a Premier Deluxe Japanese-Western Style Room (Yukemuri View), which was exceptional and very spacious, with a beautiful outdoor lanai and a fantastic view out toward Sakurajima Island.
