"It’s an older hotel, not located anywhere convenient or near major sightseeing spots, but quite nice. Hardly any foreign tourists when I stayed, so if you want to experience the good old Japan (that is becoming increasingly difficult to find), here is the excellent option."
"This hotel was very clean and looked very new. The room was really big by Japanese standards and the layout was great! Breakfast was a good value as well. Check in/out was easy. I'd recommend this hotel instead of some other ones that are closer to the train station because those looked rather dated by comparison. This property was a 20 min walk from the station or a 7 min taxi ride. There's plenty of restaurants around the hotel. It will likely be my go to when I'm in Tsuchiura again."
"You get your own parking spot right out front of your room. The room itself is a nice size. There’s a vending machine and washing machine onsite as well. Nothing in regards to dining or shops in the area which was okay as we were just passing through for the night. We were only given one pillow between the two of us and when we requested for a second we were told that we had to pay? I found this ridiculous as they were happy to give us two towels and I booked for two people but apparently they only give one pillow per bed so we had to use our clothes as a pillow. I wouldn’t mind staying at the yard again but maybe a different location. "
