The best things about this hotel are that it is a 1-minute walk from Villach HbF; the rooms (at least mine) were clean and quiet, despite proximity to the train (and bus) station; the desk staff was friendly; and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a 10-minute stroll from the old town and the most scenic part of Villach.

A literal slice of heaven. Sadly we were only passing through on our way to a wedding in Italy, but after the way we were treated at this place, we are currently planning a full vacation here. We were greeted by the kindest gentleman at the front, and every single person was so kind and helpful. The staff saved us a ton of money! Explained how to get the evignette through Slovenia, if we hadn't had it in advance for 15 Euro there is over a 300 Euro fee! The breakfast was good, and place a nice stay.
The staff were amazingly welcoming and pleasant! The dinner and breakfast could compete with the best hotels in the largest cities. The scenery is other worldly. Peace permeates the whole place. You can't choose a better hotel in the area.
This place was extraordinary. It’s an historic property right on the lake. The woman that checked us in was so kind. She even escorted us to our room. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony with incredible views. The onsite restaurant was amazing. The staff took such great care of us. The food was amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Spent amazing 3 nights at the thermen resort. Reception staff was extremely helpful in providing free train service card, directions for free laundry within the hotel. Apart from the wonderful sauna and infrared cabins to use, the amazing surprise was the restaurant in the next door hotel serving avocado vegan samosas(mouthwatering).
