Most wonderful place to stay near Parma. Our hosts were incredible! Warm, inviting, helpful, informative. The historic farmhouse and grounds are gorgeous, serene, and Unique. Gardens, patios, and a beautiful barn now used for parties. Even a couple of sheep in a pen, and a handful of happy chickens wondering the gardens. Our apartments were clean and comfy, including a full bathroom, well-stocked kitchen, and a clothes washer. The house is full of antiques, beautiful architecture, and history....

Hidden gem! Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful location and great breakfast.

Great rooms and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Middle of town. 1-2 minutes walk to all the bar and restaurants.

It's a 3-star hotel with many 4-star features. A bit out of the way if you want to tour Parma. Also, somewhere it says the hotel is attached to a shopping center. I am not sure where I read this, but it is not true. It is free-standing with no shopping center in sight. Overall, very comfortable, many modern features, and great value. Good breakfast, too.

Love the breakfast buffet. The bad part is that the A/C did not work in both our rooms. The 2 rooms we stayed in was 80 degrees even though the unit was set below 60 degrees. Besides that all went well - we were able to park our car in front of the hotel for free.

Wonderful stay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mercure Parma Stendhal. From check-in through check-out, hotel personnel were courteous, efficient and helpful. The hotel and staff were great. We don't speak Italian and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean and spacious. This was a real bargain.

The staff at this hotel was absolutely amazing! They were so accomodating and very attentive to the needs of their guests. The breakfast had a great variety of options, I don't eat pork and there were ample alternatives for me to eat. My room was very clean from beginning to end with daily housekeeping services.
