"Impressive building with lovely grounds; however unfortunately our room did not live up to the same standard with wine bottles & beer cans left at the door on entry, along with the odour from the previous guests takeaway. Thankfully the staff were able to accommodate a different room for our stay, but it is worth noting the rooms both shared a rather tired appearance and we left a little deflated bearing in mind the room rate."

"Parked at hotel which was lucky as only 30 spaces so first come first served. Quick checkin even though early. Offered lovely hot cookies. We’d booked a junior suite as celebrating anniversary & it was beautiful. Spacious, bright with 5 full length windows. Shower was big & hot. Nespresso machine. Had 2 small complimentary water bottles. Lovely comfortable bed & roof top bar is a bonus. Our 3 red tine staying here & so easy to walk to shops & restaurants. Also right next to train station. Highly recommend"

"It was okay - good access to Q carpark, pillows where more like cushions. breakfast was poor, no jam, sausages dried up/over cooked, bacon poor, butter was so cold unable to slice any from the whole 250g pack which was available for toast, no fruit left at 10:15 on a Sunday morning - or not restocked. Spoons were like tablespoons - huge and no teaspoons accessible."
