We booked a standard room and ended up in an executive suite. We lived like royalty for five days! That said, the entire property is lovely, and I'm sure we would have been happy with the standard room too.
It was an easy walk from the train station, which was so helpful after our international flight. The room was so comfortable, the breakfast extensive and delicious, and the fitness center, easy and accommodating.
It was King's Day and it was extremely crowded, but we knew that when we reserved the property. We had a great balcony room so we could overlook the craziness going on in the city. The location was excellent, close to the main square, shopping, dining, etc. The best part was being directly across from the beautiful church! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was extremely helpful.
Needed a place to stay before catching a flight out of Amsterdam, and this was the perfect place. Great comfortable location, beautiful surroundings and gardens and a delicious breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely hiking trails around the property and to the overlook tower. This is definitely a place I would stay again.
This hotel was overall great. The rooms were spacious and well appointed- nespresso machine, dishwasher, tvs, etc. You could not hear noise from adjacent rooms or those above you - only occasional door slams. The breakfast had lots of options and was pretty good. I also appreciated the laundry room in the basement. It’s pretty far from the city center but close to a tram station. The staff were all helpful, friendly and always happy to accommodate. I would stay here again if back in Amsterdam.

We were there overnight. A very short drive out of town. The hotel is lovely. Staff were friendly, room was much bigger and more comfortable than what's available in town for the same price. Definitely worth it if you have a car. Not much in the neighborhood; in the summer I am sure the green areas would be beautiful, but it was winter so they were a bit grey and rainy (well, it's the Netherlands!).
