This property was such a pleasant surprise. It ended up being my favorite stay of my whole trip. The staff is so attentive and you can't beat starting the day already inside the park. I transferred to Senda Watapuy because I thought it would be better with the pool but it was actually kind of a step down from Zirwa. Definitely would come back here! The only negative thing was the hot water went out. The staff immediately called someone to fix it (replace the gas) then it worked for 2 seconds and...

Villa Maria Tayrona, Jungle and Sea Experience

We absolutely loved our visit at Villa Maria! Every member of the staff was so friendly and willing to help with any questions or requests. The rooms were just what we needed - a wonderful, modern bathroom, a big bed, and a nice balcony with views of the ocean. The hotel is very close to an entrance of Tayrona National Park (which we hiked), and also went tubing down a nearby river, per the suggestion of the staff. The place is very hilly with lots of stairs so I wouldn't recommend for someone...

We had a great time. Highly suggested to stay in the park for a night at least. This is the best place where to do it if you are not the camping type. Comfort while in the middle of Tyrona. We also got a massage at the spa which was just incredible (way above our expectations). I would go back in a heart bit. The one tiny thing to notice is that the food is not so great. Ok for a couple of meals but I wish there were other options for that. Otherwise, perfect !!
