Our room was clean, the shower was hot, the breakfast that was included was good (scrambled eggs, warm bun with cheese, fresh juice and instant coffee), the views while eating breakfast on the room top patio were amazing and it was less than 15 minute walk to the Old Town. "I loved my time at the Kitu Hotel. The staff were so friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. When I had to depart for the airport very early before breakfast started, they even packed me a breakfast to go. Best hospitality I’ve ever received!"

"A very friendly, welcoming hotel, with clean, spacious room. A good location, just between two main thoroughfares. A lot of thunderstorms when I was there, so it was nice having a comfortable, relaxed hotel to wait out the rains. Only five or six blocks from the artisanal market, if you're looking for nice traditional crafts and gifts."

"Credit card machine not working had to pay extra already for early check in which was more expensive than a day charge on top of that they did have any change so I had to loose more money. If the hotels are especially there for tourists then all the commodities should be working. Last day on the check out the lift was also not working so had drag all my luggage down the floor. No air ventilation absolutely in the room except for one small window which I didn’t want to open as spiders crawling...

"Beautful secure quiet hotel three blocks from Fochs Square. I had room 4 which is just off breakfast area and had garden view. Wifi worked well. Bathroom is a little small which is comon in Ecuador. No tv or phone which I consider a plus. Could use a table and chair but other than that a good place to stay. "
