"We had a very comfortable stay at the Shangri-La. The room was really spacious, and we had a terrific view. The front desk and concierge staff were very gracious and helpful. "Approx 10 min walk from main station. Room was cosy but clean with good aircon. Great shower with good pressure. Bathtub. Good comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was very good with good western options and variety. Complimentary ice cream and tea and coffee 24 hours. "

"Gut renovated boutique hotel. 10min walk from Tainan train station. Walking to historic sites and eatery venues within 15min. Yes I would stay here on my next visit. Minor issue - The first room had tiny mosquitoes on bathroom ceiling. Staff was kind and allowed a change of room. "

"We were given the fourth floor with no lift access and very narrow stairs. The bed was very painful and not at all comfortable for any one to sleep as you could feel the springs even while sitting on it let alone sleep on it. They don't have a reception and check in is through a line system. If you don't know how to use line you are in deep trouble. Please don't fall for the photos as they don't do justice at all. "
