The hotel is gorgeous!! The beach is incredible and the staff is very nice and accomodating. My only complaint is we came for three nights and we were not able to get reservations for any restaurant for dinner. The restaurants seem amazing but are open to people outside the hotel. Perhaps this part needs to be improved and managed a bit more..
Great 10 days stay at this resort. Plenty for all to do, and a great amount of high end facilities on offer. There are a number of pools here, which catered for all types of guests, families with young children, or one for couples. The villa's were very well equipped and serviced daily. The rooms were spacious and comfortable! The balcony was great for relaxing at night or having coffee in the morning (which the coffee was an added bonus from the hotel). I loved the pool area outside and being able to put my feet in and read. Would stay again!
I rarely give an excellent rating for a hotel experince. But Sao Rafael Suites was above and
beyond the other hotels I have stayed. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to answer or
help you. Added bonus is live performance every night when we were there. Sao Rafael Beach is

They were the best staff I have experienced. They were considerate, responsive, detailed oriented and demonstrated the ability to properly respond to ones needs.
Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.
The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.
