"Clean room and kind staff"

"Very nice hotel, a stone's throw from Gatwick's North Terminal. Great staff, nice accommodation (we were upgraded to a nicer room upon check in, which was a nice touch), good buffet breakfast with a varied selection of items. All in all a fail-safe option when overnighting at Gatwick between flights."

"It was ridiculously small and claustrophobic. The shower is next to toilet with no shield and splashes on toilet. It’s maybe 9 1/2 sq ft including the bathroom. If two people sharing you have to crawl onto the bed as it’s wedged in so only access on one side. Ok just to sleep but not a room to hang out in. Hated the bathroom. Whole floor wet from shower"

"Regular visitor to The View. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast is great. Only downside is the bar food option needs changing. But there are many restaurants etc close by. I book via a third party website, because it’s cheaper than booking directly."

"Gorgeous terraces overlooking the marina for a drink and some food. Breakfast was excellent and the beds were very comfy. "

"Breakfate good but room for improvement. Better selection. Room very fresh and tidy. Bed and towels good. Towels soft. You do have to ask for more tea bags , milk and suger for room. Not many on arrivel."

"We had to change rooms due to the poor condition of the bathroom... It really put us off. But thankfully they changed our room immediately"

"Room was spacious clean and very comfortable with great sea views. Comfortable king bed and large bath. Property was charming and very elegant inside and beautifully decorated especially breakfast room. Decent meal first night and some live entertainment with piano. Staff all round really good and friendly and helpful. Would definitely return here for sure. Cheap parking for £2.50 a day through reception aswell and plenty of it around the hotel roads"

"My room had been redone and was very good. Had anticipated a room looking over the dustbins as a single traveller but even had a sea view! Staff very good and had its own car park."
