The hotel is located in the port area, close to many restaurants and several minimarts. The area is safe, walkable, with shops nearby.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay the entire 4 days we were there for. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, particularly the receptionist, Evi, who while we were staying there she was very helpful, hospitable, etc. She was absolutely amazing and we appreciate everything about her and hope to stay at this property again soon. Chose because they provided airport transportation for our night in Athens. Lovely setting especially with room looking to the sea. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely seaside walking in the evening.
Beautiful sea view, clean property!! Pool is nice and the glass wall keeps out the wind from the sea. Breakfast included and good! Lots of great restaurants nearby to walk to !
Beautiful property and very convenient for an overnight stay before going to the airport the next day. Staff member Katerina was very helpful and kind. She provided recommendations and checked in with us regularly. We would highly recommend this hotel stay.
The Sofitel Athens airport is a little pricey but you are paying for the convenience.

The room we stayed in was the superior room with a larger queen bed. The room was spacious with a separate WC and a separate and fabulously spacious shower.

This place is phenomenal. Brilliant service. They celebrated my mother’s birthday so nicely! They made an eggless, organic dessert for her and gave her a nice hairdo!
Great location, nice big space, modern furnishings. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response to messages but the woman who was on site at times was super helpful when we ran into her. Our balcony door didn’t work properly so we were unable to sit at the cute table and chairs outside. But overall a great spot and would definitely recommend it.
I was not given the upgrade as i had requested it, and all my other rooms that i had booked did have an upgrade...
I also had to wait for my room, while the other rooms were given early checkin....

Hotel is lovely. Room was large and shower excellent. The staff is very helpful and courteous. It is located near the Acropolis and plenty of restaurants. We even received breakfast boxes because we had an early morning flight. I would highly recommend.
We stay at Athens Gate every time we visit Athens. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly, helpfu, and always give great recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, etc.we have stayed at the Gate often and have never been disappointed.

Love the little touches...NYT in the lobby, 24 bar service, free sauna and steam...first rate through and through. Also, extremely convenient location. Highly, highly recommend.
