Le Vieux Castillon is in one of the most beautiful ancient villages that is close to Avignon, Uzes, Pont du Garde, St. Remy de Provence and Les Beaux. We have been going to this area for 15 years for business and this hotel does not disappoint. It may appear a little rustic to some, but the charm is great.
The location is incredible. The staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. After traveling for 7 days we needed laundry. They took it and had it back to us the next day.

This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error.
