"Even though still under renovation and recently reopened, our stay was comfortable and quiet. Troy and Audrey on front desk went above and beyond to take care of our every need and make our stay the best it could be. The free breakfast was full of choices and the cook/attendant was very friendly and attentive. They have a nice pool area, and arcade room that we didn't use. I did use the fitness room that is limited.

And they even had a reverse osmosis system in the bathroom sink. I’ve never seen that. So great! We’re definitely staying there again next year when we go back. Thank you River country motor lodge! "

"We absolutely loved our quick overnight stay! It was exactly the sort of accommodations we look for- very homey and relaxing. They offered a fire pit near the horseshoe pit and cornhole boards. The room was super clean and the owners were very welcoming! The property was well maintained with simple but appealing landscaping. Also dog-friendly which is hard to find sometimes! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!"

"Overall was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Is a good place to disconnect from daily life and be able to relax. Will be a place I want to visit again with my family. My only issue was finding the cabin. The address mentioned is the main store, if it was late and dark I would have never found it. The cabins are on a different road and had to ask where to be. "

Breakfast was ok, but they should add more hot options like oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Love that good coffee in the lobby is available all day. Indoor pool looked very nice but didn't use it, would rather be outside. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Cute little cabin on the lake! Very quiet and laid back. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Not much closet space in cabin2. Stacy checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent service and a great place to get away!"

"It was historic and unique, walking distance to a local tavern. The staff made us a bonfire and joined my grandson and me for an unwinding evening. We were awakened by the sound of the breakfast bell!!! ( our alarm didn’t go off)! There was a fly fishing shop and I want to go back and renew my skills! "
