"rooms were clean, staff friendly. breakfast was good. It would have been great if there was decafe coffee but a small price to pay (took my own) even though there was a conference on all weekend all was fine as long as you avoided their meal sit down times "

"There was an issue with our booking which we felt wasn't handled well by the staff in reception, but waiting staff in restaurant were much more accommodating. We have stayed at Voco before, but this stay wasn't quite as good as our last. Breakfast was understaffed and took over half an hour to bring 2 poached eggs on toast, minus the toast. Poached eggs were hard. We did receive it for free when complained. Everything comfortable and in good working order in room."

"Hotel was great for an overnight catch up with a friend. It is a little tired throughout, however this is reflected by the price which was really reasonable for what you get. Facilities are great and the brekkie was nice. The staff were all lovely especially the receptionist when we checked in Thursday evening. "

"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel before, so decided to take my husband for a Birthday treat. Staff are always very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. It’s at a beautiful location and the hotel is stunning, food is excellent. But unfortunately, this time I had a shocking encounter, of a man letting himself into my room, luckily I was dressed and had my husband with me. The poor man looked just as shocked as we were, apologised and said that he must have the wrong room and left. I finished my phone call and then went downstairs to report it to reception, they did say they didn’t understand how it happened, but nothing else happened and I went back to reception to see if they got anymore answers for me, they just didn’t seem that bothered about it, which I find abit disturbing. I didn’t sleep well last night as I kept thinking about what could have happened ! But other than this safety issue, it is a wonderful place to stay."

"Parking on site. Check in fast and efficient. Outside area lovely, lots of beautiful flower baskets. Room good, but now in need of refurbishment as looking a little tired, bathroom also needs updating. Some black mould in shower cubicle, also the shower flexi tube needed a clean. Otherwise a lovely place and we would stay again."
