This is an oasis in Ayutthaya! I loved the staff atention, they received me with a fresh brew orange juice. Then the room was perfect and extremely clean, with refrigerator and two water bottles free.

Manager Patty helped us tremendously after check out in finding another room due to the sewage fumes or odor coming from the drain system in the bathroom. The fumes weee so bad that it was giving my family and I a headaches and feeling of nausea and vomiting. The woman who runs the hotel is so kind and helpful. She greeted us at 6 in the morning after our night train. When we finally emerged from our rooms at 11, she offered to make breakfast. She arranged a drive for us and helped us Loy Kratong. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The only complaint is that the beds are like rocks, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it.
It it by no means the most upscale establishment, but The Aiyara far exceeds its low nightly rate. We stayed there one night so we could see historic Ayutthaya before the day of our evening return flight out of Bangkok.
