A wonderful stay in the Burgandy region of France. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the service was beyond wonderful. Our breakfast was quite well apportioned with eggs, bacon, sausage, bread and cheese, sweet breads and excellent coffee.
We had a wonderful stay here. It is right on bicycle greenway and the Nathalie the innkeeper offer us her garage to store our recumbent trikes where we charged them overnight. The room was large and tidy and the patio was inviting. Breakfast was all homemade and excellent.
Charlie the owner was very gracious. He shared the history of the property with us and was very helpful getting us dinner reservations. Our bed was very comfortable and the owner also was generous to accommodate my gluten allergy at breakfast. We would definitely stay again. Good luck in your future endeavors!
Beautiful chateau, comfortable room, delicious food, and French wine. What more would you need for a true French experience! The hosts are a young couple from Belgium who truly love their chateau and enjoy sharing it with others. He is not only an excellent chef, but does an informative and delightful tour of their vineyards with wine tasting. She maintains the rooms and they are beautiful, cozy, and unique. We had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. Our room was beautiful, modern, clean and very comfortable. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was really good. We enjoyed sitting outside in the lovely garden area, surrounded by trees and with a beautiful view of the nature. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.
The location of the property and parking facilities are perfect for those driving to the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts, served outside in the courtyard, were tasty and pleasant. The on-site pool was a welcome break. We'd definitely stay there again.
The hotel is fantastic, the pool and the amenities in general are very neat. They offer us a baby crib and the front desk people were fantastic. The only bad side is if you do not speak French it was very difficult to get service at the one restaurant available because no one but the front decal and the manager speak English. I guess if you travel to a country where French is the first languages expected however for the price I would have expected more English friendly service.
We stayed here for one night on our way to Paris from Basel. The grounds are beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful and serene, the chateau is well maintained and very clean. It’s an old building, which comes with some idiosyncrasies but it’s very comfortable overall. Breakfast was excellent. Beaune is close by.
