This is not an old or beautiful hotel, but its location at the edge of town means a 10min walk to the station, 25min into town centre (uphill returning!), and lovely rural views from the beer garden, or from your room if the large windows face in that direction. I wish we had booked more than one night! The staff were all very nice, friendly and super accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views can't be beat, especially from the roof bar. The food was also very good. The only piece of advice I have is if you are using GPS set your destination to the train station. If you you try to use the hotel name or address it will lead you down some very tiny, twisty streets.
