I loved the place! The pictures on your site were exactly what we received. No surprises. A beautiful modern, clean with a great staff. Right on the beach. I would love to go back!!
The hot tub was not working during our stay. I had to ask the front desk for a blow dryer because the one in the room was very old and didn't blow hot air. The breakfast was ok, basic cereal, bread etc. But you could ask for hot eggs. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance.
The pool area was beautiful. The distance to the water was an easy walk. The staff were all very nice. We had lunch one day by the pool, and the pizza was amazing! Drinks were reasonable and delicious....
The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable! The balcony was great for relaxing at night or having coffee in the morning (which the coffee was an added bonus from the hotel). I loved the pool area outside and being able to put my feet in and read. Would stay again!
The hotel is a nice boutique hotel with a good breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean. Bed was hard. The hotel is a bit out of the way if you are doing things in Faro. The Expedia page says they have laundry facilities, they DO NOT. They will send your laundry out to be laundered(2Euro per shirt) ouch!
Unbelievable bargain of the century. The hotel was newly renovated, everything was shiny and new. The staff were incredible helpful and the buffet breakfast was the best I have ever seen as a free perk. Free parking is a big bonus too. Great base of operations to explore the Algarve.
LOVED this property. Traveled here with our kids, and absolutely loved it. The room was clean, huge, and with plenty of privacy. The pool was fabulous, with tons of seating options, a great bar and ice cream counter, and a really nice restaurant for a casual lunch. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were really good, and had tons of options. Parking was easy, and appreciated that we were tucked away a bit in a quieter area of town. We went into this stay fairly blind, so we weren’t sure what to expect. Let me tell you, we would absolutely stay here again. This place is perfectly appointed, check in was so easy and amazing, and you have anything you need. Be pleasantly prepared to experience Ritz Carlton style service! Had a great experience staying at the Golden Beach. It is in the perfect location - just steps away from the beach as well as 5 minutes walking to the main strip (restaurants/bars.) The hotel is also very clean, both the apartment and outdoor pool area are lovely. Reception and staff were very friendly. There is also a supermarket nearby which is great because the apartment has a kitchen if you don't want to go out to eat every day. I will stay here again when I come to Albufeira and I don't...
