Wonderful team. Great food. Big rooms. If you are in the Camino they will even pick you up from nearby routes. Note they are creasing this lovely eco farm so some areas are a work in progress. The owner is so special. My wife and I stayed here while visiting Peneda-Gerês National Park. Sao Bento was a fantastic location for exploring the park and trails in the surrounding area. The hotel is a short 10-15-minute drive to Campo do Geres, where we went on a great hike (Cidade da Calcedónia trail) followed by a terrific drive through the park, along the Rio Homem (lake) to the Spanish border, and back down N-308-1.
