My boyfriend and I wanted to see Grenada in many different locations. La Sagesse (suh-jess) caught our eye for it's view of the ocean. We did not realize until we got there just how beautiful, relaxing, and private the hotel accommodations were. The staff were incredibly nice, fast service, and helpful for all of our needs. We lucked into finding this place tucked away in the Northern part of Grenada. The drive to get there was a little brutal (my first time driving on the left side of the road, in the dark and during a pretty heavy downpour), but once we arrived we were in awe. The place was beautiful, the owners and staff couldn't have been nicer and the accommodations were great. We enjoyed a few cocktails and then sat down to a delicious dinner. My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Maca Bana! We were upgraded to the coconut room on the first night and the room and view were stunning. My wife's breath was taken away. There is nothing like staying in a villa on a mountain and having total privacy but beautiful scenery. Phillip the manager was very helpful and friendly and our taxi driver Rickey was awesome. Our time at Maca Bana was truly special and when I return to Grenada, Maca Bana is where I'll be staying.
