Stayed at this amazing property my for one night with work colleagues before a work meeting in Fontainebleau. This is a private residence where the family and small staff serve you as if you are family visiting their home. The difference is the meals and the service are exquisite and your every whim is catered to; including a fire waiting for you outside the home ( … aka mansion) after dinner. Each room has its own private restroom and the decor takes you back in time as if you are...
The rooms are a fair size for a French hotel. No frills, clean and comfortable.
Sole issue for my particular experience, shower/sink water barely over tepid. I mentioned to the staff who adressed it, and water was instantly warmer, although still not "hot". Shower with tepid water in November isnt the most agreable.
But overall the experience was pleasant.
