"Second stay in this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice from our bedroom spotless and cosy with s large bathroom to the staff efficient and pleasant. Secial mention for our dinner and breakfast . We will come back ."

"Rooms a lovely, if a bit warm. Lovely and characterful - which is impressive for a building which is only 10 or so years old. Only slight downside was the food at night. Which was a bit average. But as a hotel, for the price you pay, can’t fault it"

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "

"Cleanliness was tops. Distance to Heathrow and ease of shuttle to the airport were great, but we expected it to be free. When we called to book, and ask about a shuttle, we found out it was available, but no one mentioned a per person fee....we had spent all our pounds so we wouldn't take any home to the states, and the driver didn't have change for a 20pound note, so we had to use a debit card. Minor annoyance, but..."
