The accommodation was a great price in nicely finished rooms with a pub downstairs, walks, bike rides and shopping on your doorstep.
There's not much parking with the pub. You have to be lucky to get one but there's plenty available in town very close to the pub."

Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical."

"The only slight disappointment was the waiting time at the table for our meals which is why I only scored four stars on service.
However, everything else was superb. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
The rooms were clean and well kept.
The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous and we would not hesitate to stay again in the future."

Mark, the owner, went above and beyond our expectations, both in his communication and his accommodation of our family's needs. This vintage apartment is beautifully decorated---the enormous bathroom contains an antique iron clawfoot bathtub as well as a large walk-in shower. "Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out.
The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail.
It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....
