Hotel Atitlan is located near Panajachel on Lake Atitlan. It is a treasure with beautiful gardens, birds, and artwork everywhere you look. The pool and hot tub overlook the lake and volcanoes. It is close to shopping and tourist activities. You can walk to a nature reserve with monkeys, butterflies, and zip lines. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Don't miss this unique and gorgeous hotel.

The view of the lake and mountains was amazing. The staff was very attentive and the food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Porta Hotel del Lago.

This place is beautiful, right in the center of the city, there is a lot of activities going on at the central park at night, but around 11 pm everything goes silent. will take my family back to such a beautiful place.

We are planning on going back on December for the 13 Baktun, the mayan era change. This hotel is definitely our choice before traveling to the mayan cities.

This is amazing hotel. The service is top quality. Employees are friendly and very helpful. We stayed at a room with king bed. It's three times the size of a regular hotel room. Our room was overlooking the lake behind the reception. Behind the water is an amazing forest view. I preferred it to the rooms overlooking the bigger lake on the other side of the property. The property is beautiful. Well maintained and the common areas (restaurant, pool, bar, gym) are large, well appointed and comfortable. Our rroom and bathroom were incredibly clean. The best part, though, was the staff at the front desk - in particular, Emanuel. He was incredibly helpful - helping us change to a quieter room, arranging for shuttles, meals to go, and gave good advice on where to eat. It was just what we wanted, a place with Guatemalan flair!

Centrally located. Access to many restaurants, Church and even a green area to jog (if early in the morning). Rooms are upkept with modern amenities. Great for a short stay for either business or pleasure. Great comfortable bed. Except for the hot water, in the shower that failed the first day, I cannot find any flaws to this hotel. BTW, the water was back that evening... dont know why, so I did not complain to management. Would definetely use again in another trip.
